Carl W. Dinger Jr. died at his home on Thursday, July 6, 2006. He was 84.
Born in 1922, he grew up in Millburn and attended Millburn High School. He graduated from Rutgers University in 1944 and was an avid participant in football and baseball. He served in the Army during World War II.
After living briefly in Maplewood, he and his wife, Charlotte H. Dinger, moved to Chatham Township, where they lived for the past 51 years.
He was a group president for Rheem Manufacturing, a division of City Investing, in Union. He was the president of the Tipper Tie Division, Rheem Container and Rheem Textile. He retired in 1984.
Prior to his long tenure at Rheem, he was in sales with Puralator Inc. in northern New Jersey.
He was a member of the Morris County Golf Club in Convent Station for 42 years.
He was predeceased by his wife, Charlotte H. Dinger, his loving wife of 43 years.
Survivors include his sons, Jeffrey E. and Carl W., III; and his granddaughters, Ashley, Caleigh and Shelby Dinger.
A funeral service will be held at the Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Chatham, on Thursday, July 13, 2006, at noon. Interment following the service is private. Friends may call two hours prior to the service.

Beatrice E. Wilke, 94, formerly of Mosinee, died Monday, March 8, 2004, in Palliative Care at Community Health Care Wausau General Hospital.
She was born April 28, 1909, in Marathon, the daughter of the late John and Katherine (Ritter) Drengler. She married Harry Wilke on June 30, 1932, in Waukegan, Ill. He died Nov. 26, 1970.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include six daughters, Kay (Floyd) Brenholt, West Bend, Harriet (James) Wahoske, Ripon, Lola (William) Weiss, Kinnelon, N.J., Joyce (Robert) Torresani, Green Bay, Nona Wilke, Avon, Colo., and Linda Wilke, Wausau; a son, Harry (Colleen) Wilke, Anchorage, Alaska; 24 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harvey (Marcella) Drengler, Marathon, and Lauryn (Dorothy) Drengler, San Antonio, Texas; and a sister, Dorothy Levandowski, Kimberly. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Sandoval; and five brothers and sisters, Lillian Krautkramer, John Drengler, Cora Beaudo, Irene Bergner and Frances Behnke.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 11, 2004, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Don Przybylski will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Thursday until time of services at the church.

Mildred H. Gundrum
Mildred H. Gundrum (nee Eckhart), 91, of Hartford, formerly of Slinger, entered into eternal peace on Monday, Nov. 6, 2006 at Hartford Healthcare Center.
Mildred was born April 18, 1915, the daughter of Carl and Helen (nee Beck) Eckhart in Richfield, where she was also raised and educated.
On Sept. 7, 1940 Mildred devoted her love to Gregory G. Gundrum at St. Hubert’s Catholic Church in Hubertus. She enjoyed her life as a dedicated farm wife and mother, and assisted her husband for 36 years with dairy farming. Their family farm remains and is today known as Heritage Trails County Park on Highway E.
In 1990, Mildred moved to Slinger, where she was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. She was a former member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Richfield and their Christian Women Society; all church functions were a big part of Mildred’s life.
She was also an active leader of the Hi-lite Happy Workers 4-H Club.
Mildred will be forever loved and kept deep in the hearts of her children, Elaine (Ralph) Wagner of Hartford, Leslie (Mariann) Gundrum of West Bend, Rita Lochen of West Bend, Robert (Linda) Gundrum of Menomonee Falls, and Diana (Mark) Weber of Ames, Iowa; her treasured grandchildren, Pam (Steve) Kescenovitz of Slinger, Angela Wagner (FiancŽ Todd) of Pewaukee, Penny (Alan) Tank of New London, Jane Wagner of Hartford, Nick Gundrum (FiancŽe Michelle) of Menomonee Falls, Cindy (Scott) Bellon of West Bend, Karen (Zach) Mueller of Richfield, Matthew (FiancŽe Jenny) Weber of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Jonathan Weber of Ames, Iowa, and Michael Weber of Ames, Iowa; and two great-grandchildren, Alison and Melis-sa Kescenovitz.
Mildred will also be remembered by her sisters-in-law, Josephine Brittain of Slinger, Christina Wood of Milwaukee, Othilda Gundrum of West Bend and Elizabeth Theusch of Kewaskum; many nieces, nephews, other special relatives and dear friends.
She was greeted at the gates of Heaven by her husband, Gregory, who died on Dec. 23, 2005; her parents, Carl and Helen Eckhart; sister, Evelyn Theusch and her husband, Edward; her siblings-in-law, John (Marie) Gundrum, Ben (Grace) Gundrum, Jacob (Elizabeth) Gundrum, Andrew Gun-drum, Theodore (Jeanette) Gundrum, and Angeline (John) Schmitz; her son-in-law, Paul Lochen, who died in 2004; and her infant grandson, Mark Wagner.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in honor of Mildred on Thursday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church: 202 E. Washington St., Slinger, with Father Richard J. Stoffel officiating.
Visitation will be held prior to the Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at church only beginning at 4 p.m.
Cremation will take place at Paradise Cremation Services, followed by spring interment at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Richfield.
Memorials are appreciated in lieu of flowers.

Julia M. Ritger
Julia M. Ritger, nee Felten, 95, of the town of Addison, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 29, 1905, in the town of Polk, to the late Nickolas and Anna (nee Konrad) Felten, and married Alex J. Ritger on Oct. 27, 1925 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church: St. Anthony.
He passed away on June 1, 1980.
Julia was a life-long resident of the West Bend area and spent her entire life on a farm.
Survivors include a daughter, Marion (Norbert) Beine of West Bend; six grandchildren, Cindy (Keith) Gierach, Jim Beine, Sandy (Jim) Weiland, Bonnie (Ron) Friedl, Betty Smith and Mary Kay Wiedmeyer; 10 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Joyce Ritger of Sun City, Ariz.; other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were a son, Roman "Chuck" Ritger, a brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Angels Church.
Rev. Gerald Brittain will be the presider, and burial will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Angels Cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home will be Friday from 4 to 6:45 p.m.

Elizabeth J. "Betty" Emmer, nee Feucht, 71, of Allenton, died on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2003 at her
residence.
She was born on July 31, 1932 in LeRoy to the late Alois and Elizabeth (Gindt) Feucht, and married Melvin L. Emmer on May 15, 1954 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in LeRoy.
After their marriage the couple lived in Allenton.
She was employed as a waitress at the Fireside Restaurant of Allenton for many years.
Betty was a member of Resurrection Parish of Allenton, the Fohl-Martin Auxiliary Post 483 of West Bend and the Senior friends of Hartford.
Her husband passed away on May 23, 2001.
Survivors include five children, Kathleen (Paul) Roethle of Iron Ridge, Allen (Darlene) Emmer of Slinger, Gary Emmer of Allenton, Steven (Linda) Emmer of Sussex and Mary Beth (Jerry) Mayer of Allenton; 15 grandchildren, Joseph, Jennifer, Stephanie and Elizabeth Roethle, Bryan, Janine and Kevin Emmer, Jeffrey and Gregory Emmer, Nicole, Danielle and Makayla Emmer, and Jessica, Kimberly and Christopher Mayer; four sisters, Marcella Clark of LeRoy, Margaret (Al) Zehren of Kewaskum, Geraldine Krebs of St. Lawrence and Gertrude (Donald) Roets of Waupun; a brother, Rudolph (Betty) Feucht of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister-in-law, Tillie Feucht of Hartford; a brother-in-law, Donald (Carol) Schacht of West Bend; on Melvin's side, a brother-in-law, Jerome Emmer of Allenton and a sister-in-law, Shirley (Roman) Stoffel of West Bend; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Resurrection Catholic Church of Allenton.
Father Richard C. Breitbach will officiate, and interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery: Allenton, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
Visitation at the church only will be Tuesday from 4 to 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are appreciated to the Wisconsin Leukemia Foundation or Resurrection Parish.

MRS MARY MURPHY, 58, WIFE OF MIKE MURPHY AND A RESIDENT OF THE HARTFORD
